Although famous for its eco-tourism, Pohnpei is especially popular with those who like a place that's not over-run.

Pohnpei, the capital of Micronesia, is called the Garden Island because everything is lush and green. A high, volcanic island with a 129 sq mi. area, and an elevation of 2,200 feet, Pohnpei island plus eight outer islands constitute the state of Pohnpei.
Pohnpei: 2,500 miles from Honolulu and 850 miles from Guam. A Continental 737 jet lands seven times a week.
Ant (Ahnd) atoll is well worth a visit. A beautiful atoll, ringed with islands and covered in coconut trees and white sand beaches. The diving is something else.
